We are dedicated to bringing to you a well organised and regulated event.
To ensure that you understand the rules of the event and be on the same page with us, we have the following rules.
1.ENTRY
a. To qualify to play in any of the events, you must have graduated from the University for at least 10 years(The year of graduation is excluded from the counting) That is why we call it Senior games.
b. For the purpose of Alumni Games, you are an alumnus of the University where you obtained your first degree.
c. Registration and participation is open to those whose schools have been fully sponsored by one or more prominent Alumnus/Alumni, Alumnus company or any other body that choses to sponsor an alumni team.
d. Your School being sponsored means that participants who graduated from the school will only pay a token as entry fees for single events (eg Table Tennis ,Snooker) and nothing for team events(eg football)
2. COMPETITIONS
a. All games shall be governed by the ordinary rules that govern the game.
b. The organisers shall make and regulate the rules in hoop open which only involves throwing balls into the net in a stationary position from a distance, This event is different from a basketball game.
c. Time is of the essence as the organisers shall retain the right to walk over any player who does not arrive or arrives late for a competition.
d. The organisers shall reserve the right to disqualify any participant for indiscipline, for not being qualified, doping, deliberately or negligently damaging any facility.
3. WEARS AND KITS
a. The organisers shall have the obligation to determine and provide the wears/Jerseys to players at no extra cost.
b. This obligation does not extend to providing wears to players during preliminaries.
c. The organisers shall have the right to produce and distribute for profit those wears worn by players.
4. SPONSORSHIP AND BRANDING:
a. During a particular event, the organisers shall display a banner containing the names of all those who sponsored the registration of schools participating in the event .
b. a above does not apply to those who sponsored a team in any other capacity where the organisers are not parties.
c. Any corporate organisation that sponsors the EVENT shall have their banners displayed at the venue and depending on the level of sponsorship may have a stand at the venue.
d. Any corporate organisation that sponsors a TEAM other than for the purpose of registering the team for the event shall have their names or logos branded on the wears of the team and shall not have the right to any banner display, stand or presence at the venue other than the shirt of the players they sponsored.
e. It shall be the duty of anyone being so sponsored in line with d to communicate to the organisers via email that a sponsor wants his name or logo branded on his shirt.
